This is a post to start an open discussion. Be respectful. Question: Would you be willing to date a Transgender person if you are a cis person? Why or why not? (To some this doesn't seem like a question, I understand, but some people out there don't feel comfortable dating a Transgender person so I want to see why)

I'm ngl - Dating while being trans for me personally is a constant internal battle. Thank god I've yet to get comments and prodding questions, but internally I fear just how "masculine" I'm expected to be. I feel as if there's a certain expectation for Trans men to fit the "normal" male box to save face. I personally don't want all the major surgeries, and I'm still debating T - I'm fairly androgenous thank god but then on top of that my interests are predominantly femenine. Spend 5 minutes with me and you'll know I'm not overtly femme. I just really wish there wasn't this constant paranoia of "well they'll leave once they know I don't fit the box of masculine".

Thus summer will be the first summer that I'm out as transgender and I'm really worried about how I will be presenting, specifically when im at the beach or pool. I'm really worried about going through gendered batgrooms at a pool and wearing a bathing suit that doesnt make feel feel comfortable. I don't know what to do 😭

I have seen many arguments that support reporting parents for child abuse who forced their children to be Trans. So now I'm bringing force the other side. I think it is very harmful to force any Gender identity on your child if they aren't that. To clarify, forcing them to be Cisgender would pertain to aligning their Gender expression/identity and using traditional pronouns to their sex. Example (Making a Trans girl be Masculine and saying they are a boy, using he/him pronounced because their sex is Male) Also forcing stereotypical Gender roles. And simply ignoring or gaslighting their Gender dysphoria as a parent.

Do people actually like pretrans people?

I hate feeling like i'm "not trans enough" and feeling out of place in my own community. I don't know why I feel this way, either- im legitimately a trans person on HRT.. but these thoughts still exist in my head and it's so frustrating

As a Transgender man I think it's really hard for parents to use the right pronouns well my grandparents anyone else feel like older grandparent kinda make fun of trans or. LGBTQIA? I swear even my grandma will make fun of my masculinityand tell me stop acting like a man like girl what you think I'm trying to do so now I just try to be as masculine as possible and embarrass her whenever possible 😁👍🔥
