It's weird, honestly. My last relationship ended 6 months ago, I moved on, and here I am. I don't like being single. Never have. Spent too much of my life being single, not something I wanna go back to. But I have to be, for now. Honestly, the one reason that brought me back was that I just wanted to have a confidant. Someone I could trust with secrets, and who could trust me with theirs. I'm just looking for someone to be comfortable with. How did you get here?

I just want to find someone I feel safe enough to be vulnerable with and respect. I want to feel loved and secure. I've found a few I would be happy with but they "just want to be friends" or just casual hook ups. I respect their feelings. They eventually fade away and the memories come back after the next "I don't want a relationship right now" Do I continue to wait, or do I settle? Do I break my own boundaries to make myself seem more palatable, or do I move on?
