I was hesitant to post this at first due to the nature of the message...but so many are struggling that I figured why not? While doing a reading for a client, I was presented with a reminder. The Devil will show up in a reading when we are refusing to acknowledge our fears, our anxieties, and our despairs, while at the same time allowing them to make choices for us. This can trick us into believing that we have no control and many will do just about anything to distract from the pain. This feeling of being powerless is an illusion. Though it may seem as if you have no control, you do, in fact, have quite a bit. That power lies within your ability to choose. Though we may not be able to control how someone treats us, or what falls into our path, we can control what we decide to do, or how we decide to act. That, my friend, is power indeed. It's not an easy thing to do, to say no to our shadowselves. It's often one of the hardest things you'll ever have to do...is to acknowledge, embrace but take back control from the negativity that controls you. When the Devil appears in your spread see it as an opportunity to take back control over your life. Never be ashamed to ask for or seek help. There's nothing in the rule book that says you have to battle these demons on your own. Quite the contrary. Be strong, you're not alone. You can do this. 🖤
