This was a perfectly clear mountain stream with a clay river bed. It was extremely slow moving. The top six feet of water was the same temperature as the air. Like floating in an endless bathtub that perfectly reflects the trees around it and sky above it. Beautiful.

Was swimming in the ocean in Cape Cod MA and found a couple of these shells. This may be common but it was facinating to see one for the first time (as Wisconsin doesn’t have these amazing creatures). What a great find!
