Do you think the world would be a better place without money and religion?

Would we be better off if money did not exist and religions never spreading?

Yea because people would look to themselves for answers and guidance, inner work would be necessary rather than looking for an outside source who is is praised for the "good" in their lives but holds no responsibility for badness, women would be less oppressed for a fact, would be less wars probably (not blaming religion for wars tbh probs the result of male rage being encouraged by tthe pateiarchy in general), people would act according to what they personally feeel is morally right, not for the reward of a "heaven", so youd have more genuine people, i feel like some form of money will always exist tbh, the way the world is structured and the lack of morality of people in power seems to be the problem, not moneey itself, im sure theyd find another way to express their lack of morals and creat inequality without money

You bring up a few interesting points. I always wonder how secluded societies in the Amazons live without money or a form of God? Sometimes people say we need an outside source of "divine intervention" because human mind is limited to will power. I definitely feel like women got the shorter end of the stick when it came to religion and the distribution of wealth.

Well I don’t think religion is the problem, but rather the discrimination and divide that these modern “religions” create now. Even science vs religion, ancient people knew what was up and actually connected them both, science and religion was never meant to be separated yet here we are today with all these atheists and theists going at each other’s necks. We need to be United 😭 not separated by our differences and opinions, but unfortunately life has become convoluted than that. Also money is questionable LOL barter and trade is a way better economical system but alas

I think religion answers some things science cannot answer and vice versa. Both play different roles. However both have different theories about the shape of the world which was always bound to clash unfortunately.

I agree on the fact that there are different theories of how the world came to be, and even how humans became conscious, sentient beings. for example scientists believe consciousness was a “malfunction” in our neuron wiring. But then again science is just discovering the electromagnetic energy of the heart and quantum physics whereas spiritual/religious texts already mention these things (the natural law, auras and the spiritual body, the observer effect, etc.) in most cases whatever science was studied in the past is being revalued by our modern science now with more evidence founded in logic and the material world 👀

Money would always be around since it's definition is so broad. 100% the world would be better off without religion and their culture followers. We wouldn't have a global warming problem, wouldn't have mass killings, society would be equal across the board, no racism, no homophobia(even though being gay was big in religion and royalty), there'd be no wars, hell we'd probably have space travel by now

You raise a few interesting points. You mentioned global warming? I thought that was a problem based on science rather than religion. Also how did religion contribute to racism?

I feel like both of those should be super obvious given everything happening in the US..... ask yourself, who is in charge of oil companies, who is refusing any progressive change to combat global warming, who is redistricting POC to keep themselves in power, who believes in a book that has a Jewish man as the son of God yet they say he is white. Almost every documented war was fueled by religion against people not like their own

No and no. Money makes things cheaper and affordable, and religion is just a template. It can good, bad, whatever you want It to be.

What about those people in secluded societies that use no money to get by? Human beings tend to believe in a man, or prophet that's perceived as good or evil.

They're farmers/ hunter gatherers and more than likely have no electricity, savings or healthcare. I'll stay in my civilized modern society

Better place ? Thats hard to say . Cause people who want to be choatic or to feel powerful, would always find someother way.. atleast that what i feel like would happen...but the world would be different .. If money cease to exist,I guess people would trade their skills instead of money yes ? Even then it will cause a divide between the, people who are skilled and not the not so fortunate ..and we will wound up to where we are right now
