One thing I have learnt

Men tend to lie alot to get what they want. They can be quite sly sometimes and turn the truth around alot. So I always rely on what women tell me first normally. Sounds sexist but that's my experience

Very stereotypical. Females do the exact same thing. We as ppl just tend to base our experiences as the standard of life unfortunately

It's just people. Women don't lie to you about men because you're a woman and they are less likely to be trying to get together with you and more likely to relate to you. Men often do the same for each other, warning of toxic women.

Do it enough and eventually you'll run into the person who warns you of someone only to be dating them themselves later though. It's just people, understand people and motivations and you won't have any issues navigating relationships.

That's the difficult part everybody's struggling to learn! How do you learn someone's motivation if they aren't being honest about it...and use lies get what they want?

Humans are constantly projecting their identity, their real identity. Most humans don't understand identity well and almost subconsciously believe it takes others to validate or to reflect off of. This leads them to project, all day, every day, who they are and what they believe and behave like....

Interesting. So isn't online a good way to know someone (factoring in the time it takes, ofcourse). Because here they get the freedom to be whoever they want to be...and what they choose to reveal...reveals their motivations, no?

It can be. Just depends on the medium. Usually better in anonymous forms if you can talk to someone enough that you are pretty sure you're seeing past a potential silhouette. If its not anonymous they may want to put on the persona, if it is they may want to fake being like someone they've always...

That goes both ways you know , I talked to lots a young women , one thing keep popping up , they want money n have many excuses for why they want it . If I don't give it , they drop me like a soft egg
