Ghosting Avoidance

After years of arguing over the same thing and constantly getting disrespected, I am walking away. He was never mine to begin with and he never loved me. Maybe he really was just using me. Maybe I was right all along. People say dont ignore the red flags and I did the exact opposite. I gave him a chance, ignored his red flags and thought I can make it work. He was never emotionally available, stuck in the past and head over heels with his ex. He would call me a baby whenever my feelings were hurt and never denied any 'accusations' i made against him. He never tried to make things better, only thought about himself. He never even said those 3 words I want to hear so bad. I wish he understood me and took me seriously just like I did for him. I feel so ashamed, I want to run and hide. Just want everything and everyone to leave me alone. I know time will heal but wish it was sooner. I wish I can just forget everything about him, as if he never existed. I am deeply hurt.

So guys, how many of you actually care about the female gaze and how many of you fall victims of the male gaze??

Do you prefer blatant and almost tactless honesty or sugarcoating and pleasantries until you have spoken further? I have been told I am too honest and almost too strong willed. But I would rather set my preferences and my boundaries upfront than waste a week talking to someone only to find out later I've wasted my time.

I have a feeling my friends are in a toxic relationship but at the same time they need each other. It worries me that they might get hurt later on, I just hope they, over the time get help and become their best selves.

I'm really bad at ignoring red flags since I usually want to "give them a chance", especially when that person is exciting and alluring. I recently went on an incredible date with a gorgeous guy who was so passionate, intelligent, interesting, and made me feel so special and desirable. I have had body image issues my whole life, but he said I had the body of a Greek goddess and actually made me feel sexy! However, he confessed that he used to have control issues in the past and he has a violent streak. He's already showing his possessive and controlling tendencies, and I'm already starting to feel anxiety over his moods and potential jealousy. Should I give him a chance and see where it goes, or am I ignoring all the flags again and should I cut ties and run? (Sorry for the novel, but thank you for reading 😊)

What hurts worse being 🚫 Blocked? Or being 🙁 Ignored?

So for 10 years I have not seeked out romantic relationships or really even friendships. Being almost 26 now, I feel really really far behind now that I am taking my emotional health seriously. Simultaneously, like most people I am comfortable where I am. Alone. I convince myself I have no time as I am working and going to school. Is that fine? Or am I just maiming my future self by being scared? It's extremely difficult for me to break through smalltalk, or to know when or how to flirt. Its a bit embarrassing to me. I feel obliged to use dating apps and the like, but I receive extremely few matches, and I can't seem to convince anyone to hold a conversation. Should I strike out and try to make friends and the like in the real world, by joing some kind of club? I definitely feel a little lost as to what I should do.

Would you be intimidated? will you support them? Will you demand your time despite knowing that their personal development is their priority?

What would you be your ideal first meet?

Recently I matched with someone who lived semi-close to me (25 minutes from Los Angeles) we set up a date but unfortunately I had to go to work, so we set up a second date, but before we actually met she said “btw I’m in an a relationship”, I didn’t mind it, because I thought it was open. She said it was not. So then I asked why is she in a relationship then? She said she loved him, but that he was small. At that point, I was not really interested in being part of cheating, but I was totally curious about what size we were talking about here. She told me he was 4.5 inches. I started doing research because I was totally curious now, and found that sizes vary across different races and grougraogic locations! I am definitely not this size, but was wondering if girls actually consider this tiny?! Given the fact that I keep hearing that size doesn’t matter, I really want to know!

How do u guys feel about this if it happened with you and your s/O. Do u think this is normal?

I’m a young mom and so a lot of the people I used to hang out with don’t really talk to me anymore because I stay in most days now. It would be nice to have someone to hang out with tho while or after I take care of my daughter. What do I do? Why is it hard to make friends( especially girl friends)
