What am I doing wrong?
Recently I met a girl during hiking and we ended up talking a lot. The very next week she invited me to a beach with her friend. On the way back we both were discussing about different view points on religion and it got intense. We text that night too but didn't discuss much about it and avoided that topic. The following day I asked again if it triggered her in some way and she jokingly said yes but I wanted make sure she was alright. So I went to her room. And then everything was good. The next day when we were texting she mentioned that her family is facing a flood right now so again I went to her place spent some time with her. Yesterday the same thing I did and she said "I was not ready for this". What does that mean I asked to which she said no it's nothing my landlorday think something wrong. And she kept on telling " we are freinds right? ".. I said yes we are freinds What do you guys think? Where did I go wrong?
From reading this post, I think it's because maybe the topic was intense and it got sensitive for her or maybe you or her could've been insensitive to each other on the topic which might result her/you to feel some type of way. Towards the end, I like to assume that maybe things are progressing too fast and she wants to clarify that you guys are "just friends" until there's clarification from her to feel comfortable to proceed (?) I wonder if maybe conflict makes her feel uncomfortable? If things got intense she might just not quite know how to tell you she's upset or worry you may become upset in her doing so.

Obstacles

Doing it wrong
Hello everyone! This is a question we've all gotten to ask ourselves hundreds of times, unfortunately, but it human, all too human. When a person you're dating or trying to get to date stops communicating with you - what did you think you've done wrong? I'll let you in on my examples: my mind has a fast pace and a wide horizon, and most people, sadly, can't keep up with it. So, I always blame my IQ not being at least 30 points lower... I simply don't have it in me to small talk, waste time on shallow and unimportant stuff that is flooding our everyday life - and, it costs me dearly. Thanks for reading.
