Lol I'd say that seems true. Especially if it's someone who's putting their whole life online and sort of living that "Influencer" fomo life. On a more serious note, society truly does ignore men's mental struggles. From when they are boys it says "stay silent and try harder" in the face of their pain. That needs to change. Men should be able to cry and show emotions too. People should respond by helping not ignoring, lecturing, or being demeaning.

9And this is exactly why I had several mental heal issues undiagnosed my whole life :)

Exactly. Society tells men to bottle their emotions. Then at some point the pressure of all of the pain, anger, resentment and frustration explodes and they do something like shooting up a school or running down pedestrians.

The only emotion men are allowed to display is anger, and then society wonders why they're angry.

9They are no longer men if they are shooting up schools or running down pedestrians... they're possessed by a sickness worse than the ignorance of childhood.

Yes, I think a huge issue causing the mass shootings is men's bitterness due to their unfair unrealistic gendered expectations.

2I've noticed a similiar pattern as well but I think this stems from there being a lot more men than women in dating apps, aside from what Kelly mentioned (good points). Men tend to treat each other harsher than women do with each other. Women seem more supportive of each other. This all stems from the culture of "man up." Which explains why the difference in support at times.

5And another thing to consider. If a woman shows concern for a man she runs the risk of being misunderstood...as in the man assuming the woman has an interest there that the woman did not intend. Also men pretend to be interested in or show concorn for a woman for selfish reasons. Neither of these are the rule, of course, but I'm just stating the reality. The risks are real. But I certainly agree about the neglect of men's mental health.

9Silly boy, girls matter. Why you do think men want to transition? Being a man is dealing with it and not hoping for people to care. We not allowed to have feelings 🤣

9Real question. Everytime someone tries to flirt with me, I feel pissed off and I ignore them. Recently, a friend tried to ask me out and I feel disgusted and angry. I feel like punching him on the face 😂 I know this is not a normal feeling. Usually people feel happy when they know someone likes them. But I dont feel like that. How are we supposed to feel when someone show interest in me? Why I feel this way? Please help me understand my own feelings 😅

Aaah! I'm just not sure why I should bother trying to talk about my mental health issues with anyone. It's a dead end. I struggled with mental illness for so many years and managed to improve after so much work but here is the dilemma: we human beings need sympathetic people to improve. Imo, the most helpful type of therapy I found was person centred (at least for my situation), but the majority of people you talk to are itching to give you advice, or trying to make a point... Sometimes LISTENING is what's needed but I give up, this is just how most people are.
