Pride month and men's mental health

So in America June is recognized as men's mental health awareness month in addition to being pride month. But because of the largeness of pride month men's mental health awareness month is never talked about and can be seen as too political of a topic because when I ask about this kinda stuff they immediately put it in opposition with pride month, which isn't the issue I'm trying to discuss. My questions are 1) did you know it's know it's national men's mental health awareness month in America? 2) do you believe it's political to talk about men's mental health awareness month and finally 3) what are some ways we can push men's mental health awareness month without making it seem like opposition to pride month?

Mens mental health is very important to be worried about and maybe it should get its own month so maybe it is thought of more! Mental health is more important and should be talked about more. Men should be able to cry without being called a whimp, men should have people to talk to so their feelings would feel valid, men should be comfortable enough to do more feminine things without being bullied for. There's alot that men need comfort and help with so mentally health awareness month could be bigger and more important than it is treated right now.

As a pro-LGBTQ and pro-feminist person; I must say that anyone who's against addressing men's mental health is seriously problematic.

I didn't know it was men's mental health month. Granted pride is a huge thing and may overshadowit but I still heard and read nothing about it which is worrying. Men's mental health is hugely important. This is a subject I'm really passionate about. Ive been friends/around men most of my life and have heard and seen the "man up" attitude towards their issues by both genders. More troubling is when it's by other men. If a personal mental health subject comes up or they get too emotional they are stopped by other guys sometimes. I guess because it may be too uncomfortable to hear or they aren't sure how to be supportive because no one was to them. Also there are many guys suffering from mental health issues - bipolar etc that find it hard to ask for help or just considered being just Aholes without looking closer and getting them help. Lot of these instances can lead down a path of being on the streets.i could ramble forever about it, but I'm not sure what to do to get people aware of men's mental health month. Perhaps more awareness - tv campaigns, more people speaking up about it, raising their sons to feel they can talk about their issues etc

I didn't even know tbh. I'm fine with Pride Month (although I think it's silly that corporations just feign support 1 month a year; and mostly do it for money/social capital); but personally I think if we don't address the concerns of Men's Mental Health we're going to see even more mass shootings than we already see (and they seem quite common these days).
