Are thoughts real?

For those who believe they're objective, what is your list of moral rules? Can they ever be changed if you get more information? For those who believe morals are subjective, where do you get your morals?

I used to think as you get older it's easier to make connections with people. However as I get older I'm finding it's quite the opposite. How can it be so hard to find people that are honest and real... I'm not one who likes to be alone or isolate myself but I am finding myself doing this more and more due to lack of trust and an abundance of fear due to my past experiences... I just do not know how to over come this and it's so damn conflicting when I'm becoming less tolerant of humans but yet crave the company of any real friendship. I think this is the worst pain to have ever and it's becoming pointless to me at this point...

Why is it that some people you don’t even know just want to see you fail at their benefit? Why can’t they just be more open and honest before leading you down a path for your torment?

I wonder sometimes if I'm just a difficult person, and complicating things more than they need to be. I'm lonely but also antisocial, not reaching out to people and ignoring people who hit me up. I don't need much to be happy, but hate feeling like I'm wasting my potential so I set what feels like stupid high goals and end up stressing myself out over them. Do we pick one? Or is it possible in these situations to fulfill both?

How can anyone defend socialism ? Besides saying "well socialism wasn't really implemented correctly." Which implies if you were the one to be the head of the socialist state you would be the one to issue in the eutopia. Which is just flat out delusion. The notion of socialism or social programs have good/noble intentions. But the path to hell is paved with good intentions.

Can you explain why you want what you want?

After seeing a few post I wondered if anybody on this app is also interested in things like the School Of Life, Simon sinek Mark Manson, Adam Grant maybe even John C Maxwell?
