Favorite movies
I wanna know how you guys decide what's your favorite movie. On what basis do you decide it? Is it a particular feeling? Storyline? Logical or realistic enough? You can rewatch it many times? Emotional Rollercoaster?

Good idea. But this is self-reporting which can be an issue for this purpose. In order for the validity to be established you have to isolate for honesty, introspection, and post-hoc justification, otherwise you're just begging the question. Still it might be interesting. There's a couple others that were recently asked though with less follow up questions. May be interesting to look at those too.

Honestly for me it's always changing (favorite movie that is) but it always seems to fall on what effect it has on me at the moment. Did it make you feel something that changed you is what I ask myself
It's subjective but generally the plot and the dialogue but also preferences
