3Would you give a chance to a person of your same gender that confesses their feeling for you if you really really like their personality?

1No. I need and want a woman. It is not just physical- it is because she is fundamentally different than I am. I need her strengths in order to be complete. I need the differences. I need her sexually, emotionally, and psychologically. People can't just switch. We can't choose who or what we are attracted to. We need opposing elements so that we can grow. I spent several years convinced I was gay. I divorced my wife and everything. I discovered I was wrong years later, but I learned that you must know who you are before you start bringing people into your life. Personality is a trivia feature in this realm. We need a deep connection - a different connection - and no amount of hopeful metrosexual ambiguity will ever fill the myriad of needs that evolution has programmed us for.

3Ok but that’s you, not everyone feels comfortable with a “different connection”, gay people wouldn’t feel comfortable with it the same way you don’t feel comfortable with someone who’s similar, we’re all different individuals

5Exactly! You and James are making the same point! We are all individuals that form our sexuality based on soo many factors. horomonal distribution, experience, etc.; it all plays a factor and works in our subconsious. Even if I feel like it's a perfect soul connection, I can't tell myself "I like men now." I can be pretty feminine, people think I'm gay by my demeanor, but I just like women and there's nothing wrong with not trying to change, bc we can't and thats ok <3

8No, I wouldn't be comfortable. I know I couldn't reciprocate those feelings. I'd only see him as a friend/brother. Would be flattered but I have to be honest with him.

Most of the girls I got with were my homies. Be eating them out while they're on the phone with their long distance bf. I would probably make out with a chick if I was drunk and my bf was ok with it lol #Savage

Considering the rate of sexual abuse towards young girls. It shouldn't surprise anyone that we experiment with the same gender or become promiscuous for awhile figuring things out. It happens...

Dated a girl for 1.5 years in high school. Definitely not my greatest decision she had more daddy issues than I do...

4Coming from a girl who was convinced she was straight until her female best friend confessed her feelings, and we started dating seriously, yes. But I also found out I wasn't straight so... not sure if that counts.

8This happened with one of my best friends, I tried it but just couldn't get myself to go below the waste. The experience made her realize she was fully gay, and I realized that I'm fully not lol. Making out with girls can be fun, but that's as far as I can go with it

No. It's prob weird to hear but it wouldn't be a thing that would happen. Though we act gay with the boys, we don't wanna have a whole orgy together.

I'd say thank you but I can't, and if the refusal is taken gracefully, we could use those feelings to build a better friendship.

1I've actually been in this situation, and I didn't. I felt bad about it. But I have no interest in men romantically. The attraction just isn't there for me at all. More gay men have hit on me than straight women too. I would've found a match quicker..But that's life I suppose.

9I was straight for a long time. But since some years I see myself more like someone who could love everyone no matter what gender. Even if the person says I don’t have a gender. The connection between each other and the love for each other is the most important thing in life. That both are kind and respect the other one. I know I’m a woman and I feel like one. But could love everyone.
