Single Dads

Can someone explain to me why it is so hard to date as a single father? I hear women all the time about "I don't want baby momma drama" and yet they are single and have a child themselves. What kind of backwards thought is that?

It goes both ways. If you are a single parent in the dating space, why would a single person choose you over someone with no kids? If you're single and have a kid, your value in the dating space is lesser than a person without a kid.

I date a dad, and love his kids. We're both poly though so I guess things are always a little different with that mindset.

(Its pretty disharmonizing and disheartening seeing how many men just sort of hate women, seemingly. Yet i know not one woman who has not been raped or abused sexually. This is just the way the world is right now. Can we do better?) Not talking about the original poster.

I'd assume most of them probably just don't want more kids? Unfortunately you're looking for a small percentage of women open to a dating a single Dad. I bet there's not a lot of guys pumped to be taking on another partners kids either. As you said, there's possibly issues there and it's easier...
