Soooo...

An old friend from middle school randomly reached out to me today. I was caught completely by surprise but we seem to be reconnecting fairly well. I just... I feel like I'm talking to that same 11 year old kid I knew when so much time has passed and it feels really weird if that makes sense. I just.. I personally have changed so much since then but he seems to... Have not really?? Like at all? I dunno, it feels weird. (Mostly just putting this out there but tips, thoughts and similar experiences are welcome)

You should ask him what's his life has been since the two of you split until you reconnected. Get a feel for where he is and ask him questions that will allow him to ask questions of himself. Since you're the more mature and wiser head in the conversation, lead him in the right direction. Don't judge. Just help him. You never know, maybe he might see you the same way OR even crazier, it might be you who is on the receiving end of what you're posting.

That's okay I had a girl swear she hung out with me when I was married the first time,and now I am remarried and honestly I don't remember her like at all lol. And then another friend said she remembered in highschool me wearing greatful dead all the time,and I've never owned one thing that was greatful dead. LMAO
