Sure, born female but I am NONBINARY. Please. I don't have the resources to appear more androgynous so I'm kind of stuck with what I got but please stop calling me a girl. My pronouns are they/them, please respect that. (Why do you think I chose a more masculine name??? Because I look feminine as hell) Thank you, much love. <3

A friend of mine recently opened up about often being misgendered. I gave it some thought and I realized posting does not include genders on it like your profile does. This is a bigger issue than it looks. Posting is where we do most our interaction on Boo and is where most lasting connections start. Therefore, not having the gender included opens up the opportunity to misgender someone. I hope this is something that gets adressed not for me, but rather the community at large.

April is actually a trans boy :) my name is Arthur. I did this account because I wanted to remember how it felt to present as a woman. I’ve had fun but sometimes I got bored and annoyed and I’ve wondered many times if I had to upload more recent pictures, change my name and, you know, just be myself. That moment has come. April, this character I created putting together my old pictures and the name of the month I was born on, has become unexpectedly important to me. She gave me a little relief from all the struggles I daily deal with as a trans person. And after all the things I’ve learnt from her, I’ve decided to shed the mask. A lot of you already knew, and you’ve had an important role in making me take this decision. You made me feel loved and appreciated regardless of my gender, my appearance and my struggles.
