Fear

Im finding myself to be very afraid. Usually these sorts of feelings dont bother me but it is seemingly overwhelming tonight. What are you afraid of? What do you do to help yourself get past certain things that may give you feelings of fear or insecurity?

Ending up alone. Sometimes I feel like I made peace with it and others it haunts me like a bad shadow. I like to draw, listen to music, workout, read, write a list of things I love about myself and say them outloud. That or I watch some of my favorite youtubers.

Everyone at somepoint has feared to be all alone. Iv never thought about my fears but i do know being alone is pretty scary. I definitely have more fears i have yet to discover lol

Hopefully none of them are too bad.

I feel for you. Sometimes I get stuck fearing the unknown, how my life will be when I get old and if I'll feel satisfied with where I end up and how I got there. Loneliness is a frightening thing, but it helps when you reach out and talk. I pray 🙏 you feel better and that you find ways of coping with your fears when they get overwhelming.

Honestly I used to just try to struggle past it or distract myself. But now I take medication for it. The only other option I found helped before medicine was having someone to talk to.

Sleep, when I wake up my mood has reset

I fear for my children coming to harm and I can not do anything to stop it. I let my emotions take a hold of my guitar or paint brush and channel them through that as best as I can. At the very least it disapates with time.

Just keep going. Nights are often worse cause often enough you are alone. Relax and think of good things.

The biggest fear I have is giving up on myself. Trying to do great things in life is really tough. Its easy to do something for recognition or gratification. But whats scary is losing myself in trying to be the best that I can be. A simple solution I've been taught is what we call the Rule of 3. If problems going on in life are not 3 feet in front of you, won't get better with your effort in 3 minutes, and won't impact your life 3 months from now, don't invest your time and effort into it. Do what you can with what you have. If something doesn't seem to get better, leave it where it lies and move on. Its not easy to do all the time, but seems to work for most people (at least on the military side of things). *Hope this helps
