5Not particularly as far as language learning goes. It's pretty straight forward and there are few if any words like "knight" where sounding it out puts you way off. If you have a large enough vocabulary in English plenty of words in spanish will be easy to learn. Some of the things that get those who learning it as a second language coming from english can be every noun has a gender and sometimes the tenses but that can be the case for many languages you learn if english is your first and only.

are you of the opinion that it's EASIER to learn Spanish if my first and only language was English?

5No, that makes it harder, but not any harder than most other languages if english is your first and only language.

I don't know if it makes it any easier that one speaks or understands another language(s) in addition to English.

5It does. English in particular is odd because a lot of the rules are, not necessarily hard rules. Sure most languages have exceptions to rules but it's usually one or two exceptions per rule that actually has exceptions. English often has a ton. Spanish is also easily comparable on a near 1-1 with some of the other latin languages. That is to say, sentences are formed very similarly among the latin languages and often the rules are very easy to pick up because of this if you know one making the words themselves and pronunciations and the like the biggest hurdle sometimes. English is kind of odd. I'm confident it still has more similarities than, idk, one of the many languages native to Africa or Asia picked at random. But if you know two distinct languages, even if they're not closely related to the Latin languages you may still be in a better position to learn spanish than knowing only English.

5Also understanding a language other than english can help because while many people who understand only one language may have issues with understanding 1-1 translations don't often work, english speakers can be at a greater disadvantage because a lot of how the rules in english work as opposed to other common languages can be a problem. Someone knowing multiple languages understands it isn't about picking up a dictionary and forming sentences in your first language then translating words verbatim, but someone who doesn't and their first language isnt english, might, actually not be that far off if it's among some of the other more commonly known languages. Im being very west-centric in this of course.

7Relatively? Yes. Objectively? Depends on your aptitude for language learning and your access to native speakers haha. I'd say just try it and see! If you can get through verb conjugation without wanting to jump off a cliff, then I'd say you're golden

Omg... That's as real as it gets lol! Trust me when I say I'm learning a great deal when it feels like jumping off a cliffđ. I unfortunately don't have access to native speakers, but appreciate the input

4At first it may seem difficult since it has many rules, but if practices constantly be sure that you can learn the language. You can try meeting people on forums in Spanish, YouTube, movies with Spanish subtitles. Good luck.

4I donât think so. But beware of âfalsos amigosâ, otherwise known as false cognates. For example, âembarazadaâ actually means pregnant.

I have years learning English and I still make mistakes when I am talking/writing in the language. My bf says my English is getting better I am almost close to become a native speaker but I donât feel like that. Also I am so scared at my job because I would like to get better positions but I refuse to them due to language.

7The side that is out... And the side that is in... Did you ever really stop & think about how we treat such concepts, linguistically, almost like a duality? đ€Żđ€ Meet me on the out side of this building...& we shall fight. đ€
