I hate

People who use complex english just to make me feel intoxicated by exuberance of verbosity betaprutal contraption...

I'm more disdainful of those substituting verbosity for substance. Had a chance encounter once online with a gent that exhibit this nature. He kept saying absolutely nothing with a lot of words. It sounded like he was randomly picking dictionary entries and stringing them together. The people he was having a disagreement with had much more substance of thought in their replies but their lexicon was not refined enough to understand this man was saying absolutely nothing. He proceeds to challenge his opponents to translate the meaning of his words as whole phrases so I jumped in and explained to him why he was saying nothing and that he'd said nothing the entire time. There were not arguments in any of his rhetoric, it was sheer bombast. He didn't like the accusation and attempted to go to my profile and again use pure bombast, and again I let him know he was saying nothing. What I've learned in my life is those who do this are, let's say, LARPing. They are pretending to be something they are not but don't actually understand how. You see they believe that this will give others the impression they are very intelligent, educated, refined even. They think intelligence is a club and if you're accepted that's all that matters and think this is the way to be accepted when nothing could be further from the truth. Those who have higher than average cognitive abilities don't have a club, well, except those people that take MENSA waaaay too seriously. They only appear to have one because they may recognize each other's capabilities and be able to relate. This can cause a quick bond as they don't often run into each other in the wild. These people are often times also exceptional at simplifying complex concepts such that anybody may find it easier to understand. This is a trait acquired mostly from necessity throughout their lives and exercise it quite often. When one of those attempting to "join the club" begins their ramblings, those with actual higher cognitive capabilities may be completely turned off by, and to, this person. Mostly due to the fact that this person is doing the exact opposite and it's completely transparent to them. They are attempting to make a simply concept or a simple truth about themselves sound much more impressive than it is through verbosity. It's narcissistic in many ways and used in the same way someone with crippling debt may brag about their material possessions. It's superficial and those they are attempting to woo are those least impressed. If you find yourself debating someone with these qualities, it's probably best to not engage unless you can fully expose them through an explanation of what they've actually just said and shut them down because no substantive arguments will be listened to and to third parties unaware of this behavior they may appear to make valid points.

I’ve also encountered a couple of those, really annoying. Im not sure they realize they sound like robots from shakespearian era, they just think people will assume its smart even when they dont know what its really about, Mostly thats all there is to it.
