Lived on Lake Michigan my whole life. Kinda spoiled oceans for me. "Oh, a large body of water you can't see across? I have that back home. With slightly less salt."

lol I know what you mean. I rake the beach life for granted. I'm more interested in mountains, so it boggles me when I meet people from out of state who come for the beaches haha. I really want to visit the great lakes; still can't even imagine lakes that are big enough to be mistaken for the ocean!

Looking for hiking buddies
Anyone in Central-ish Florida on here?! I know there are some hiking groups but from what I can tell they are mostly older people. I was looking for 30-40 range (give or take of course) ?! I'm not familiar with long hikes, I just know the local areas and I don't want to be gator bait out there alone!

Forest bathing
We hike almost daily...it's so refreshing to take in nature and essentially forest bathe. For those who don't live in forested and mountainous regions...you can still deeply connect with nature and "forest" bathe by simply being outside an engaging all of your senses...sitting in a sweet space of gratitude.
