I found out that a very close friend if mine made stories about me

I have a friend group which consist of 4 girls including myself. I would refer to as (D). Last Saturday I went out with the other two (R) and (M) and another close friend of us. we invited her but (D) had other plans. Now, on the way to the city, (M) told me that (D) got jealous of me and her crush getting aling well. Her crush is our friend and he had rejected her already and he was the one who always approach me first. It turns out she made a big deal about how her crush slept beside me when I was almost passed out drunk and her crush decided to sleep next to me. She also made a big deal about how I lied down on the sofa when we were hanging out bc her crush was sitting there. Now, I don't find this guy attractive at all and when I heard about this story of her asking (M) if she thinks I like him I actually laughed but the next story was what made me so mad to the pont that I cried. After that story our other friend (R) told me that (D) told her that when her and her now ex bf would vc, I would try to "catch his attention" and stuff. Now, I have never met this guy before and we only talked if it's about (D) but she implied that I apparently liked her bf. She even told to our other friend and that friend actually said that (D) should be careful bc I am around. I was so hurt when I found this out that I cried when I was driving. I thought I found a good friend but it turns out she was painting me as a snake behind my back. And it was funny how when we were drunk that time I was the one holding her hair when she was vomiting. I never thought that she would think of me that way. It's funny bc now that her crush have a gf, everyone in our group feels more comfortable talking to him and his gf was cool about him getting along with his girl friends. I thought she would be one of my ride or die but apparently no

Ahhhh, to be young again 😉. Hunny, people gonna be jealous over just about anything. We all want attention. Some get it the only way they know how. Just be careful when you strike that match to burn the bridge. ❤
