no idea I don't.

I don't wear crew socks at all so I don't understand them. Maybe I'll trek out out and get a pair for the experience...maybe

Probably comfort, pared with the self confidence not to to care what others think... I envy them.

I don't envy anyone and I certainly could care less about what anyone thinks of me. I just don't get the whole crew sock thing so figured I'd pose the question here and get responses from those who actually wear them.
