Last night I had a strange dream, (nothing out of the ordinary really.) I was in my old neighborhood and lived in a house that used to belong to a family friend only the house was kinda like the Pink Palace from Coraline. It was raining and as I crossed the street to go inside the house a man started chasing me. I didn't have my keys, my husband did and when he couldn't open the door I ran to the one that wasn't locked. We got inside and started locking all the doors and windows. We were scared, why I have no clue tbh... (I usually almost die in most of my dreams before I wake up.) We waited... quietly and saw a shadow walking outside. I looked at the door the shadow was coming up to and noticed it wasn't locked. I sprinted but just as I got to the lock the door open and it was a different person, said he was my dad but he wasn't. I also saw my dog that passed a few years ago and that instantly brought me comfort. I went to the kitchen to make some tea and felt safe enough to open the locked windows and curtains. I wasn't in the pink house anymore, I was in my childhood home, as it looked when I was a teen. I still got a worrisome feeling when I open the back screen door. Something didn't feel right. And just as I was about to turn around to look my husband woke me up. I wanted to go back to sleep, back into that dream to figure out why I felt the way I did. What are the meaning of dreams to you? Another you in another universe? Things to come? Or something else? ... lost in transmission

So I went through my foster care files recently I wasn't a perfect kid but I've notice one thing alot because I was different none really gave me a chance as soon as I did disobedient kid behaviour along with metal disabilities we were not always a walk in the park but I even notice I still got in trouble for doing what now would be considered sibling behaviour or for yelling because I was uncomfortable it didn't matter weather they were younger then me usually when I said now say I'm uncomfortable I am actually uncomfortable but also at the same time I was accused of things I didn't do for example taking out a window which I remember could slide very far and the other person had also provoked me sure had to clean room but I was too angry for that so I ran off and then come back to all my stuff been thrown out the window they didn't care what was in my stuff they legit had the window open throwing my stuff out the window while calling me names and they literally told me more then once no wonder your mother doesn't want you telling that to a kid no matter their age it would break their very soul being told that has never been okay and I got angry because I was provoked and ended up hurting someone even to this day I wouldn't hurt anyone unless I was provoked but now who would listen to what the kid had to say anyways back then it was the carers word against the kid but through out all that was someone who always gave us chances she was kind hearted sometimes even too kind because she cared and wanted what was best for us and I grew to call her mom it didn't matter what the actual relationship was she was mom to me unfortunately she is no longer with us she passed away in 2020 and I miss her

What is your biggest regret in life?

This has been boggling my mind for a while now and I had a brief conversation with someone on here with this - man is physically fit clearly he works out and here I am, not as fit but working on it for ME. And I'm clearly not the most fit as I've showcased my physique on here often. These trash beauty standards when it comes to body image. Why are we programmed to think that an obese/overweight woman or man cannot be with someone who is physically fit? This stems from that tiktak video that's gone viral? Whatever happened to being with someone just for the sake of who they are as a person? In time, beauty DOES fade. We don't have the elasticity anymore as we get older. But who we are still stands. I've told people I've dated who do workout and keep their physique well that I always felt intimated by them because of how I look but that's not what they look at when dating me. Just seeing some insight on others. Thanks for letting me rant

Has anyone ever had a dream that was so epic you woke up feeling different? Like it changes your perspective and outlook on life.

To the woman out there id like to ask. What do you make of a guy that doesnt jump right into sexual topics but tries to get things engaging for a normal chat and struggles to do so I try to use points of interest from bios and it doesnt seem to do much. do i need to go for some other direction or is it an age thing.

I find myself uneasy about it since I don’t have kids myself 😅 just curious what everyone thinks.

If you have more of a communication level than someone else? Like if you were to write a paragraph about something and get short replies in response? I feel like one person would have a more in depth type of way of communicating but the other is more aloof and casual and it just doesn’t work. Thoughts?

Like if you are unemployed do you look for someone with a job? Or if you have a good job do you specifically look for someone who is also working? I feel like people should only expect to be with someone who mirrors them in a way. If you want a girl with a good job and has their own place, you should also have your own job with your own place lol. My apologies if this is somewhat offensive, I’m just curious 😅
