Crispy skin on the outside. Juicy on the inside. In about an hour. I love this thing.😊 I have used it to make a lot of things at this point.

Main thing is do a bit of research. I got my new one from Amazon and it works great. It was only $99 with a coupon they had. I got the COSORI 5.8 qt which is big enough to do a chicken. I wouldn't get anything smaller if you can because you might find you will upgrade later.

I'm a deep-fry guy. The beauty of it is the oil imbues the flavor of what you cook in it. Much like using food flavors in a broth. Deep-fry some bacon or potatoes. Next thing you know, bacon infused oil 😋

Oh yeah. I have special pots. And recipes. My deep-fried Oreos in particular. I can't make them like that in any other way. You pretty much have to deep-fry them. I can vibe with you on the health concern. But for me.... It's really about flavor with these kinda dishes. I already spend too much time with healthy food options. When I'm talking meat. I abandon all principles. And go straight for the tastiest option 😆😆😆

Yeah, it's a real kick-in-the-****. I have a really nice and simplified recipe too. That temperature has to be perfect though.

What temp do you cook a chicken at ? I used to use a rotisserie and I miss it. Didn't think I could do a chicken in an air fryer !

I've been using my air fryer to make wedges and although they're tasty enough, they never come out as crispy as I want them

I follow the online recipe. After soaking them in cold water for an hour to remove the excess starches, I season them with a little garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and rosemary and toss them in a little olive oil. Then I just turn the air fryer on 400 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.

Yeah all of that sounds about right. Have you tried messing with the temp or time? Not all air fryers work at the same wattage. It's possible that's what is throwing it off. Also I'm sure you are already doing this but make sure there is some space around the fryer for air flow.

I have... the temp is maxed out at 400 degrees and I have tried adding a few more minutes to get a crispier finish, but it just ends up making the wedges deformed and burnt a little in the outside.
