I own the entire catalog; gave it a reread around last year. Some of it was a lot better than I remembered, other parts a lot worse. In general the quality of the ghostwritten books swings a bit up and down and unfortunately some of the characters' personalities and decisions aren't executed very well or are inconsistent (looking at you, Cassie and Rachel). Despite that I still personally think it's a fantastic read, and delves into morality, trauma, relationships, and a lot of other deep stuff. Pretty much all of the Tobias books are written very well, I felt that he was the most well-written character, and ironically also the most relatable despite his situation being so out of the ordinary. The David trilogy was probably (?) the high point of the series, but I think some of the side books (Visser, Hork-Bajir Chronicles) were fantastic as well. You can probably just skip over all of the books involving the Helmacrons....(sigh)

Can anyone recommend me some good military history/war history books? Examples: The Forgotten 500: The Untold Story of the Men Who Risked All for the Greatest Rescue Mission of World War II, A Higher Call, Spearhead, The Trial of Adolf Hitler: The Beer Hall Putsch and the Rise of Nazi Germany.

This book is interesting because it discusses neurologically why we are the way we are. It reinforces this idea that unresolved trauma is passed down, in fact, its reinforced into unborn children, they absorb it. Makes you see yourself completely differently. Always give yourself love, it doesn't matter what you do because you deserve it.

https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/691706/bodies-on-the-line-by-lauren-rankin/ Picked this up from the "new non-fiction" shelf at my library last week. Just finished it and would highly recommend to anybody who wants a well-researched (and timely) discussion of abortion clinic escorting, and the history of abortion clinics (and laws) in general.
