Typically I send free samples to my Kindle for any book I'm interested in. If I make it to the end of the sample I buy the book. Sometimes I flip through the book samples to find my next book. It's like my own personal library. How do you look for books?

5First of all, I usually look for the reviews and the podcasts/lecture related to it if it's available. If I am interested, I ll keep it/them on my bucket list, then I look for them online, put it on my buying list, and decide which one to buy first and later. If I can find it in local bookstores, I...

1Go to the library and check out a book whose synopsis I read OR read a synopsis online and find a physical copy in the library. (:

5I go for groceries and I find books there with great prices. Or there is cafe where I can pick up book together with coffe. Or I borrow them from library or from my friends.

5I walk down the aisles in the bookstore just kind of meandering until a book catches my eye. The cover needs to be good enough to get me to flip it over and read the blurb on the back, if the premise seems cool I read the first sentence or so of Chapter 1. If that makes me read the first paragraph,...

I think it depends on the book tbh, I sometimes do like you with amazon. However, for some I have to go to these random sites like for example for a light novel from japan I had to go to book walker.

7I need to see covers lol. Either browsing at a library/thriftstore or scrolling through amazon. I can't just scroll through a list of ebook titles, I will NEVER just randomly pick one no matter how impulsive I'm feeling that day.

I prefer to go to the library. Sometimes my neighbors throw out boxes of books and textbooks. Around my neighborhood they've been putting up something similar to little free libraries. Looks like a mini cabinet on a pole with clear sliding doors and it says you can take a book for free. Though you...

I shop depending on what I need in my life at the moment. Laughs, romance go for classics. For a bit of inspiration, I go to the crime section... I tend to ignore book recos by friends as their taste is not the same as mine. I'm a bookstore/library fan so I enjoy the thrill of browsing until I find...

7What book has allowed you to rethink/change your perspective about something? Or, has gave you an a-ha moment that you may not have had prior.

I've been writing a book about the zombie apocalypse for the past 5 years (I started in 9th grade). I have blown past 3 books, but I threw them all away because it just wasn't realistic enough. What would realistically happen in a major zombie outbreak?

2When's the last time you read "...and then he slid into her DMs with a 'Hi wats up' text" and thought to yourself "Wow, that was a genius way to pick up a woman"...? I'm genuinly curious what book that's from, because I'd like to burn it if it exists. Thank you in advance. 👍🏻

I've been enjoying works by Penny Reid. A lot of them have a rom-com feel that's more down-to-earth while still being exciting, and they really touch on the sense of connection and pining that liking a person can bring.
