If you don't mind older anime, I've been loving Hajime No Ippo. Super comfy mix of comedy and seriousness. Next to that I'll always recommend The Slayers. Even English dubbed it's a masterpiece.

Hajime no ippo is an oldie but Goldie. It's so good.
