5Which anime was your first exposure to a world you are never leaving now? Personally for me it was cowboy bepop….. Not just that amazing great sense of humor the writers had but the animation skills or those behind the scenes artist had me for life and I don’t ever regret rewatching it. What anime would you consider a top 5 in your list that you always recommend? I know I know, Kakeguri may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I’m so obsessed I plan on naming my kids two girls hopefully Yumeko and Yumemi😩👏🏾 What would you recommend I watch ASAP? I’m gonna start having days I have some free time and want to get into something different. Not Naruto. Not Dragon Ball. But something I for sure haven’t heard of and would love.

Sailor moon and power rangers. We would stop playing to watch it alone or at one house. Then play it out where one friend would be the kidnaped, the villian and the hero plus goons or party pending friend count. Our lazy friend allways volunteered to be kidnaped and sat tied up till rescued. Wonder if she got a kink. Also falling alseep to the inuyasha ep

5Going to go a bit old school here, but my first exposure was Robotech back in the '80s (the jets transform into robots, which many believe inspired The Transformers) Robotech is a lot more serious and characters die in it. Most of my favorites are films: 5. Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind 4. Robot Carnival 3. Ghost in the Shell 2. Akira (got to see this in the theater, in original theatrical English dub) 1. Appleseed (2004) (Edited for typos)

5My pleasure. Glad I could spread the anime love. Appleseed is one of my all time favorites. Deunan is also my favorite heroine, she a badass without some snarky attitude, and very human. She can say so much with just facial expressions. Also, Masamune Shirow wrote both Appleseed and Ghost in the Shell, and he said that even though neither one of them acknowledge one another they're in the same universe.

Same. Cowboy bebop hit differently. I identified myself with the main character trying to find something to live for before I got stuck in the past.

The anime is so good. I can watch over and over, and I won't get tired because I deal with similar emotional problems that they deal with. I am gonna carry that weight.

Well I watched some anime before like DBZ, Naruto, Inuyasha. But the show I watched when I really decided to try anime was Death Note, it kind of blew me away.

For me it was Claymore, like I was so intrugued! Imagine starting anime with a horror one😂. 1.Full metal alchemist brotherhood 2. Attack on Titan 3. NANA 4. Gintama (comedy and literally has every genre in it) 5. Howl’s moving castle (a movie) This was so hard but I think this have been my faves for a while now. Such good story telling

Dating myself a bit, but Cowboy Bebop for sure. It was my first foray into adult anime (just watched Dragonball and Naruto at the time). It’s one season, but has so many deep layers to it.

9Cowboy Bebop was my first exposure to anime alongside Yu Yu Hakusho. However, it was Eureka Seven that made me feel something so different when it came to watching anime altogether. It's one I hold near and dear to my heart, and also one I recommend to people who I think would appreciate it
